Incredible Visit to Kuantan 188! I had an unforgettable experience visiting Kuantan 188 — this iconic tower is a must-see landmark in Kuantan! The panoramic 360° views of the city, the river, and even the South China Sea are absolutely breathtaking from the observation deck. Visited Menara Kuantan for the first time. Suggested by my uncle. We would like to thanks to Mr Wafi and his colleague (forgot to ask his name) at the counter around 11PM on February 14th 2026. We are very satisfied and impressed on how professionals and such kind hearted persons they are. Great services and breathtaking night views! Highly recommended and will definitely repeat for skywalk and hotpot in future. Shout out to Mr Wafi and his colleague for their good services. Thanks to Mr Wafi for providing acknowledgeable and delivering historical information. Thankyou for the assistance and for being very helpful. It's a community project, they are trying to make 188 the centre of events for Kuantan. There's great views from the top, and you can do the 'sky walk' which involves climbing gear and just basically walking around the edge of the tower, guided and very safe. You can also get a good value tower and boat trip combined ticket, which is worth doing. Low key on sights, but relaxing and you will meet lovely people.

Kuantan has added a new place on its list of must-visit places and it's the Menara Kuantan 188. Located along the Kuantan river, this observation tower gives magnificent views of both the river on one side and the city on the other. It is not too expensive to go up the tower especially if you're a Malaysian. The ride up the exterior elevator is pretty interesting as well as it gives a nice preview of what to expect once you reach the top. Even if you don't intend to go up the top, the park and surrounding river esplanade is a nice place to visit. Just a short walk across the street is the main street of Kuantan with its enchanting colonial shop houses.

I was there on the 25th of December 2025. It was windy with light shower in the late afternoon. The crew on duty + Mr Azlan at the Skywalk platform was very attentive too. We got a chance to take great pictures at the 3rd Floor (outdoor) observation deck and a nice pictures at the skywalk starting platform.

A must-visit! You can learn some history about Kuantan while enjoying a beautiful view of the city from the tower. Sadly, it was the rainy season, so we didn’t get to experience the Sky Deck view. The staff were friendly and provided great service. We’ll definitely come back again!

Nice place and one of the unique building in Malaysia. It is the tallest building in east Malaysia. Kuantan 188 Tower was inaugurated by YAB Dato' Sri Haji Wan Rosdy Wan Ismail , Menteri Besar of Pahang, on 21 February 2021. The name "Kuantan 188" was taken in conjunction with its height, which is 188 meters.

Relaxing place.Beautiful scenic view of mangrove on opposite side of Kuantan river.

Great value, we go on Friday evening between 6-7:30pm, we bought ticket by walk in, rm46 for indoor and outdoor deck, we took time to enjoy the sunset moment and take photos,souvenir is not Overpriced , weekdays seem like a great choice to visit if you can, coz we almost have the whole floor for our own.

I've only been to Menara 188 at night — 2X for Iftar (each year) and 1X for the Merdeka countdown celebration. The view from the top is absolutely breathtaking. You can really feel the calm and spiritual atmosphere, especially when the Quran is recited during solat. The city lights, the gentle night breeze and the overall ambiance make it a peaceful yet stunning experience. The staff were very polite and attentive, which made the visit even more pleasant. However, the price you pay feels more for the view than for the food. The meals during Iftar and the Merdeka countdown were just "biasa-biasa". The taste was okay, but the variety could definitely be improved.

Best view with glass elevator

Ein 188 Meter hoher Aussichtsturm mit einem Rundumblick auf die Stadt. Sehr schöne Aussichten auf das Meer und Umland. Es gibt zwei Ebenen: Observation Deck und Sky Deck, welches außen gelegen und teurer ist. Für die untere Plattform (Observation Deck) muss man ca. 8 € Eintritt zahlen.

Merupakan salah satu tarikan pelancongan utama di Bandar Kuantan.. Cuma satu je masalah di sini adalah parking.. Bg org yg mampu untuk berjalan jauh, tidak menjadi masalah akan tetapi bg org tua, yg ade masalah kesihatan agak sukar utk mendapatkan parking di sekitar menara ni..
